Exercise And Playtime

Country Acres is surrounded by 22 individual grass and/or rock, tree shaded yards, enclosed by six foot, secured chain link fences.
The Exercise Program was designed to offer your dog the opportunity to get out into a yard either alone or with other dogs at your request. This allows them time to run off any excess energy or to relax in the sun and fresh air.

Dogs enrolled in the Playtime Program will receive full attention from one of our experienced staff members, based on their individual needs. One dog might benefit from a game of tetherball or frisbee, while another might prefer being brushed, stroked or talked to. We can tailor this program to fit each guest.

Fun With Food
|
|
|
We also offer a variety of Fun Food options to your dog. You can sign your pet up for Peanut-Butter Kongs, Dog-E-Licious Ice Cream, Pupcorn, Biscuits and Gravy and/or Special Holiday Meals.

Queeny Park Hikes
|
|
|
|
We offer 20-25 minute walks following many of the horse trails at Queeny Park. Water and special staff attention are provided.

Senior Love Program
|
|
|
This program was designed to cater to the special needs of the older pet. Each dog is assigned a staff member who nurses your pet and keeps daily track of important matters such as appetite, any necessary medication, comfort and overall happiness. All pets on the Senior Love Program are given special beds and are kept separate from more active, younger pets. In addition, your dog receives let outs into a grass yard every 2 hours to stretch the legs and get some fresh air. At least two of these let outs will include special staff love time to make your dog’s stay even more enjoyable. A detailed record is kept on your pet. You may request a copy of this record at check-out.

Swim Time
|

“Aruba, Jamaica ... oooh, let us take...” your pet SWIMMING! A 15-20 minute pool encounter with an attendant. Let your pet splash in their “birthday suit”, play “Barko” Polo or just bounce in the arms of a staff member!
