Spa Options for Dogs
Cost varies by size, breed, and condition of coat – see a Country Acres Professional Groomer for specific rates.
Traditional Bath & Brush: This service includes shampoo, massage, blow dry, hand brush and loose hair removal, ear and eye cleaning, and a bandana.
Deluxe Bath & Brush: This service includes shampoo, massage, blow dry, hand brush, neatening of the face, feet, ears and genital areas, nail trim, anal gland expression (on request), ear and eye cleaning, and a bandana. This may also include other basic “neatening” on a breed specific basis, such as skirt trim for a golden retriever. Ask your groomer if you are unsure.
Premium Bath & Brush: This service includes everything in the Deluxe Bath & Brush plus *Shed-Less Treatment.
* The Shed-Less Treatment features a stimulating massaging bath with a gentle, yet deep cleaning shampoo and a deep conditioning treatment. The bath is followed by a forced air drying session which assists in releasing shedding coat. All this is followed with a comb-out using various grooming tools and an additional forced-air session. The forced-air sessions are used to release as much hair as possible without causing the skin irritation that prolonged brushing can do.
Kennel Cut: This service includes everything in the Deluxe Bath & Brush plus an even clipping of the pet’s coat, leaving the dog with ¾“ of hair or shorter all around his/her body. This service also includes a full shave option. There is no scissor styling included with this service other than those areas listed in the Deluxe Bath & Brush service.
Full Groom: This service includes everything in the Deluxe Bath & Brush plus the groomer will style the pet using clippers and hand scissoring as appropriate. The pet will be styled according to what is standard for that breed or the owner’s instructions.
Examples include but are not limited to:
Breed Pattern: Breed specific and modified show standards Lamb Cut: Coat on legs is longer than body coat Teddy Bear Cut: Even clipping of the pet’s coat leaving 1” of hair all around the body
Puppy Basics Package: Introduce your new puppy to the grooming process in the right way. Available to puppies beginning at 10 weeks of age (w/up-to-date 2nd Dhlpp shot) up to 40 lbs or 6-months old.
